Grilled Salmon with Lemon-Dill Sauce

Grilled Salmon with Lemon-Dill Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Fresh dill sprigs for garnish

Lemon-Dill Sauce

  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparations

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Brush the salmon fillets with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place lemon slices on the grill and cook for about 1-2 minutes per side until they have grill marks. Remove and set aside.
  4. Grill the salmon fillets for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  5. While the salmon is grilling, prepare the lemon-dill sauce. In a bowl, mix together the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, chopped dill, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
  6. Serve the grilled salmon with a drizzle of the lemon-dill sauce and garnish with grilled lemon slices and fresh dill.

Tips

  • Make sure the grill grates are clean and well-oiled to prevent sticking.
  • You can marinate the salmon in a mixture of olive oil, lemon juice, and herbs before grilling for extra flavor.
