Quiche Lorraine

Ingredients
- 1 pie crust
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Preparations
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the pie crust in a tart pan and prebake for 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle bacon and cheese over the crust.
- In a bowl, whisk together milk, cream, eggs, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Pour over the bacon and cheese.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the custard is set and golden.
